Private Music Education is designed for students who need more individual attention, deeper musical development, and a program shaped around their level, goals, technique, repertoire, and performance experience.

Students can prepare for recitals, competitions, auditions, arts-school admissions, and advanced study — all within a focused, highly personalized learning environment.

What to Expect

  • Personalized learning program tailored to the student’s level, technique, repertoire, goals, and musical development.

  • Performance preparation and stage experience.

  • Competition preparation, including national music competitions.

  • Audition preparation.

  • Arts school preparation, including Rollings Middle School of the Arts and Charleston County School of the Arts.

  • Deeper development of technique and musicianship.

  • Private one-on-one lessons with the teacher’s full attention.

  • Paired lessons for students of similar age and level.

  • Limited enrollment, allowing teachers to give more individual attention to each student.

  • A path from first lessons to advanced study, designed for long-term musical growth rather than only beginner-level instruction.

The purpose of Musical Explorers is not to choose a musical path in advance — it is to give your child the chance to experience music first and decide whether they want to continue.
